Meet ENET’s high‑quality, Intel‑compatible transceiver designed to deliver dependable, enterprise‑grade performance without paying premium OEM prices. The Intel Compatible E10GSFPLR is a functionally identical SFP+ module engineered to work seamlessly with Intel networking gear, offering a 1310nm 10km link with a single‑mode LC connector. Built to meet or exceed industry standards while staying within the rigorous requirements of a TAA‑compliant product, this transceiver is ideal for data centers, campus networks, and long‑haul connections where reliability and compatibility matter most. ENET’s commitment to compatibility across 50 manufacturers translates into a cost‑effective solution that matches OEM functionality, spectrum, and performance—so you can deploy with confidence, knowing you’re protected by a 100% guaranteed compatible claim. Whether you’re upgrading a mature Intel deployment or designing a new next‑gen network, this ENET transceiver is engineered to integrate smoothly into diverse environments while maintaining the performance you expect from a 10GBASE‑LR link.

  • Intel‑grade compatibility and performance: This SFP+ module is designed to match Intel E10GSFPLR specifications exactly, delivering a plug‑and‑play experience for Intel‑based networks. By aligning with Intel’s formal interface and signaling expectations, it ensures stable, predictable operation across a wide range of Intel switches, routers, and servers. The result is a dependable 10GBASE‑LR upgrade path or hardware refresh that preserves native performance, latency characteristics, and link integrity, allowing you to scale your network without re‑engineering your existing stack.
  • Functionally identical, cost‑effective alternative: ENET’s OEM‑compatible optics provide a cost‑effective alternative to OEM hardware without sacrificing quality or functionality. You can expect the same electrical and optical behavior, same frame structure, and identical performance metrics as the original Intel module, but at a fraction of the price. This makes it an attractive choice for large deployments, labs, or mixed‑vendor environments where balance between budget and performance is critical.
  • 1310nm single‑mode, 10km reach with LC connection: The transceiver uses a 1310nm laser and single‑mode fiber for long‑haul transmission up to 10 kilometers, supporting high‑quality, low‑loss links in campus backbones and data center to data center connections. The LC duplex connector supports reliable, low‑cost terminations with standard SMF cabling, making it suitable for typical telecom, data center, and enterprise fiber layouts that require robust 10G links over moderate distances.
  • TA A compliant, tested reliability: This module is designed to meet the Trade Agreements Act (TAA) requirements, ensuring it’s a compliant choice for government, education, and enterprise customers subject to procurement standards. ENET emphasizes rigorous testing and compatibility validation to minimize field issues, delivering stable link performance, consistent optical power, and dependable operation within Intel ecosystems and beyond.
  • Easy procurement, broad compatibility, and support: Beyond Intel compatibility, ENET’s transceivers are engineered to align with a wide array of vendors and devices, enabling simple sourcing, quicker deployment, and reduced risk when upgrading mixed environments. With extensive testing, robust quality control, and responsive support, this transceiver helps you simplify procurement while maintaining high performance in critical networks.

How to install Intel Compatible E10GSFPLR

Installing this SFP+ transceiver is straightforward and designed for minimal downtime. Follow these steps to ensure a clean, reliable deployment in your Intel‑based network equipment:

  • Power down the host device only if your system requires a formal power‑down procedure; otherwise, you can perform a hot‑swap if your switch or router supports it. Always consult your device’s maintenance policy before hot‑swapping any module.
  • Remove the protective caps from the SFP+ port and the transceiver’s optical connectors to expose the LC interface and avoid contamination.
  • Insert the ENET Intel‑compatible E10GSFPLR module firmly into the SFP+ slot until it seats with a click, ensuring the faceplate is aligned and secured by the port’s latching mechanism.
  • Connect the fiber pair using clean, properly terminated single‑mode (SMF) cables with LC connectors. Verify the fiber ends are free of dirt or dust and that the connectors are fully seated.
  • Power on the device (or complete the hot‑swap if supported). Check the optical link status through the device’s management interface or front‑panel LEDs. The link should come up and mirror the configured rate (1G or 10G) depending on your network settings.

This is a smart book, an interesting book but it was hard for me to read as the style was more technical/detached than i like. It worked for the story but not for the kind of reader I am. It is worth the read though despite this 3.5

Very creative and engaging
Format: Hardcover
Kinda blown away that this is a first novel! In a not-so-distant future, the protagonist Lee is a recent grad of an elite Program where she has dedicated her life to achievement. She's disappointed to be sent to a no-name company and assigned to a mysterious project. Learning she must gather data to help AI become more human, it's sadly funny as the only way she knows to gather data is by going online. I really loved the book's portrayal of the future, in which NYC is a dead city and the Midwest is where all the action is. The future portrayed here is just a tad more digitized than our current time. Instead of cooking people order food and it is delivered instantly (not just meals, but like if you want a cookie it's delivered instantly), purchase clothing by tapping the glass display windows at empty stores, and eat at restaurants by tapping on screens and having food shot out at them by machines. When Lee discovers a "primitive" restaurant that is actually staffed by humans and has menus, she is drawn to the place over and over again and starts to discover the magic of real life interaction. Lee, who is socially awkward to the point of agony, gradually becomes comfortable interacting with humans IRL. It's touching and funny as she navigates things like friendship, getting drinks or coffee and even dating. But the book takes a dark turn as Lee's drive for perfection and her assignment to "experience life" for the AI spin out of control. This book started off reminding me of "The Factory" by Hiroko Amayada and turned into shades of "The Rosie Project". Touching and truly original, well worth reading!

Poignant
Format: Hardcover
This is definitely a slow burn. A poignant look at the idea of loneliness, though I often think about how the technology presented in near future worlds make people feel less tangibly human.
